We Help Youth and Young Adults in Underserved Communities Reclaim Their Future
We provide mentorship, resource navigation for youth & families, and social emotional learning programming that helps youth stay in school, stay out of the system, and step into their purpose.
Our mission is to support youth and young adults from underserved communities in building a future of opportunity and purpose. Through mentorship, family-centered support, and social-emotional learning, we help youth stay on track, out of the system, and driven by their potential.

In partnership with
North-West Credible Messenger and GBHU, Pro Se Potential has started a Supportive Re-entry program to assist young adults in transition with finding stability and purpose. By supporting and guiding young individuals who were written off by society for one reason or the other, we hope to inspire change and rebuild broken foundations.
We welcomed 254 youth into our program, many carrying the weight of complex challenges
94% of youth are justice impacted
60% have experienced housing instability

Programs That Shift Trajectories
S.O.A.R. (Seek Opportunities and Rise):
Our signature program blends social-emotional learning with workforce development. Through culturally relevant SEL curriculum and hands-on career readiness, youth develop emotional intelligence, leadership skills, and the tools to pursue meaningful work.
Outcomes:
– 90% of participants are on track to graduate or have already earned their diploma
– 98% are employed or actively pursuing employment at the time of completion
– 92% avoid re-entry into the justice system for 6+ months
Mentorship & Resource Navigation:
We pair youth with mentors who offer consistent, culturally grounded guidance — while also connecting families with housing, food, education, and mental health resources.
Diversion Programs:
Our alternative-to-incarceration services offer restorative, healing-centered pathways that address harm while keeping youth out of detention.
EVERY ONE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE
Pro Se Potential has been working tirelessly to ensure that youth of color in low-income communities receive equitable access to resources and peer mentorship for a safe and effective transition to adulthood.
The services we offer are all geared towards empowering our young people with stability and the agency to discover their true purpose in life. By empowering and guiding young individuals who may have been written off by society for one reason or the other, we hope to inspire change and rebuild broken foundations.
